Travel Tips

The IAEA 2022 Congress will be held in-person in Philadelphia.

This page is a resource for planning your trip, and will be continually updated as the meeting date approaches.

Event locations

Sessions will be held on the University of Pennsylvania campus at the Penn Museum and at the Barnes Foundation.

COVID-19 considerations

This will be a traditional in-person meeting. Please check this page as the meeting approaches for any pandemic guidelines, should they apply.

A limited number of rooms at the Sheraton, on Penn’s campus, are available at a discounted rate for meeting attendees.

More information here.

Philadelphia is a  "city of neighborhoods" with each one offering something unique, so check out a few guides. We like this one.

The Philadelphia International Airport is conveniently connected to Penn's campus via train line. Uber and Lyft are also options.

While you're here, take advantage of the public transit options. View bus, trolley, and train options on the SEPTA website. You may choose to purchase a reloadable SEPTA Key card for transit; purchase locations include the airport and Penn Medicine train station.
